I've been busy prepping for fair season (my first is this Sunday), but had to take some time out to play with a new piece of glass! It started with a stop at my local stained glass store, where I spotted a wobbly piece cut from the end of a fun sheet of stained glass full of blue and pink streaks. I just had to try it and see how the drops would turn out!
I ended up with quite a color variety, from swirling pink to foggy purple to cobalt swirls! I'm calling the whole series "Spring Blossoms" and named the individual colors "Cherry Blossoms", "Wisteria", and "Bluebells". I haven't had a chance to list them in my online shop just yet, but I will be bringing them to my first fair of the year this Sunday.
Join me at the Gilman District Street Fair in NW Berkeley this Sunday from 11am - 4pm to see the new colors in person!
I'll also be popping up at Abrams Claghorn Gallery the following Saturday ("May the 4th be with you!") in conjunction with the Spring Solano Marketplace, plus joining the traditional "Day before Mother's Day" fair at Abrams Claghorn Gallery once again on Saturday, May 11th. I hope you can stop by! (And if you can't, you can always shop online!)
