I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had to switch the glass I was using for my Magenta and Morning Glory colors. The new Magenta is a little more pink than the old, but nice and vibrant - I love it!
I admit I'm struggling a little with the new form of Morning Glory, however. To make this two-tone color I melt glass rods of Magenta and Turquoise side-by-side, the same as I do when making High Tide. While the longer teardrops all end up with a nicely distinct two-tone, some of the shorter drops have less pink, which may get a bit overwhelmed by the blue. I'll keep working on it, though, I promise.

These dainty drops of delightfully colored glass hang a bit lower than on a standard earwire, with an elegant marquise-style curve in the back.
